Student Council Elections

Attention Students:
Voting for 2024-25 Student Council will be Monday September 23rd. Applications for election are located in the hallway across from the HS Office attendance window. Completed applications are due in the office by the end of the school day Friday September 20th. A parent signature is required. Please read the information below before you decide to join the Student Council.

All class officers plus one representative from each class will make up the WHS Student Council. The Student Council has the responsibility of representing the student body and working with the faculty advisor and the high school principal for the good of the school.

Duties that Student Council members are expected to fulfill:

Representing the student body with pride, respect and dignity.

Working for the good of the school in all projects related to the Student Council.

Planning Spirit Activities for Football & Basketball Homecoming Week

Raising funds to help local/national charities – Christmas Community Service Project.

Participating in the Pirate Card Fundraiser in November, December, & January.

Attendance and participation at all scheduled meetings.
