Donations for Flood Victims

In an effort to support the donations for the hurricane victims, members of Wheelersburg High School student council will be collecting items to send. Allard Excavation has agreed to supply semis to deliver items from this area, with the semis leaving Thursday morning from South Webster High School.

Donations will be sent to Georgetown Missionary Baptist Church, located northwest of Asheville in Leciester. Their pastor’s name is Jacob Allege. The church has a large storage building that will be used for collecting items. Donations will go to not only the people who can get there, but also the helicopter pilots who are dropping things to those that can’t make their way to the church.

Items can be sent to the high school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Student council members will be coming around to the rooms in the high school to collect the items or donations can be dropped off in Mrs. Belford’s room, Room 3403.

We have provided a list of items needed.
