Congratulations Miller McKenzie

The South Central Ohio Educational Service Center is proud to announce Grace Wagoner of Paint Valley High School and Miller McKenzie of Wheelersburg High School as the 2025 Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award recipients.

Miller, ranking first in his class at Wheelersburg, has distinguished himself through both academic achievement and extensive community involvement. As captain of the varsity soccer team and vice president of Key Club, he has balanced athletics with service, including volunteering at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Miller plans to attend Duke University to study neuroscience, with aspirations to return to Scioto County as a physician serving rural communities.

The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award, established by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA), recognizes outstanding academic achievement among high school seniors. One student from each county is selected for this prestigious honor annually.
