Ohio Direct Admission - Ohio Direct Admission gives seniors the chance to see which colleges you qualify for before you apply. Using information your high school already has - such as your GPA - a secure system compares your academic record to the admission criteria set by participating colleges. You'll be matched to colleges where your current academic information meets their requirements for admission so you can understand your options clearly and early in the process. If you like any of the options you receive, let the colleges know by claiming your spot. They will let you know what additional information they need. The institution can then provide additional details - such as financial aid and whether you have been admitted into a competitive major - so that you can decide where you want to enroll. All seniors are enrolled in the program, please send me an email if you want to opt out. By November 1, the portal will let you know which colleges are a match based on your academic data. For more information, go to highered.ohio.gov/direct-admission .
