Juniors - PSAT
The PSAT is a three hour standardized test that tests your math, reading and writing abilities. It is the qualifying exam for National Merit Scholarships. The cost is $18. The test will be given on Monday, October 28. To register, reply to this email by September 18.
College Credit Plus - Shawnee State University Parking Permits
If you are taking an on-campus SSU CCP course this semester and will be driving a vehicle to Shawnee State's campus, be sure to get your parking permit as soon as possible. Public Safety will soon begin ticketing drivers who do not have a parking permit. Parking permits are free for CCP students. You may pick up your parking pass Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Department of Public Safety office, located in the Administration Building, Room 023.
College Credit Plus Informational Meeting for 2025-2026
The College Credit Plus Informational Meeting for the 2025-2026 school year will be held on Thursday, October 24, at 7:00 p.m. in the cafetorium. Parents and students who are interested in the program should attend.
PSAT
The PSAT will be given on Monday, October 28, to registered juniors. The test will begin at 7:45 in the tiered room. It will last approximately three hours.
College Credit Plus - Shawnee State University Spring Application
If you are already taking a Shawnee State University course, you do not need to reapply for spring semester. To apply, go to https://admissions.shawnee.edu/register/CCP. If you apply, reply to this email and a transcript will be sent to the college. The SSU application deadline is Friday, November 1, 2024.
Advanced Placement Exam Form
You will receive the form in your AP courses soon. Please return the form and payment to the guidance office by Thursday, November 7.
Fall State Testing
Students will be notified if they need to take a fall state test.
